WOW!

Today we hiked to Lindeman and Greendrop lakes (up by Chilliwack lake which is about 45 min drive from my house. It was about a 12 km hike there and back. the scenery was BEAUTIFUL! and the company was great too! My brothers Joel, Jonathan, and Jesse along with Shannon and Joel's friend Evan conquered the not-super-hard-hike. We gained quite a bit of altitude in the first couple km's and saw Lindeman lake, and then went steadily up for a bit more till we hit Greendrop. It was a beautiful sunny day, and eventhough we hit some snow patches up there, we didn't freeze! Here was a beautiful waterful near the start of the trail.

wow.... looks like it could be the Caribbean ocean! except it feels 100 degrees colder! this glacier water wasn't really fit to swim in... so instead we all just sat and looked (except joel who decided he wanted to log hop and got a couple soakers!)
Hiking through the snow for the last few km's was pretty fun. kept us nice and cool and on our toes cause of the ice!
